"So basically, considering a majority of future potential partners will turn you down, what choice does that leave you?"

Ok, this is completely untrue.

I got genital warts when I was 19 in 2003. I had a combination of acid and laser treatments and have been wart free ever since. In the 9 years since I found out about it, I've fully disclosed it to every potential partner I've had, which in that time has been 8 people. Of those 8 people, only one has turned me down, but we still dated for 6 months. You can't assume people are going to turn you down, especially if you are studied up and know what you're talking about when you tell them about it. Yes, it kind of sucks to have to bring it up, but it's not the worst thing in the world.

Hi Kelly,

If you haven't had anything for about a year now (and nothing has tried to come up at all during the whole time), the chances are much lower you've spread it to him. It may not even be with you anymore, but of course that's not something I could possibly know for sure. The thing I would check for is to make sure your pap smear tests are clean and other than that just keep a close watch over the area.

Hi Ray,

Yes if you skip straight to method 2, it should work on those other warts as well. Your experience with Aldara is a common one and it's something I often try to tell people about who are thinking about going down that road. A lot of people who get my report have done similar treatments like that and are looking for something new. In most cases the treatments in my report work very well (and I keep everything updated when I learn something new), although occasionally there is someone with such a stubborn case that can't be helped much.

Hi Chris,

I would say there is a chance, but it would be very small. It's probably ok. (keep in mind this is just my personal opinion based on what you told me, I'm not a doctor and there's only so much I can do over the internet like this)

Hi David,

Aldara is a very tricky treatment (not to mention expensive) and it often ends badly for most of the people I've talked to (e.g. burning, extreme irritation, and warts coming back later on within about 2 or 3 months). However, there are a few cases where it actually works as advertised. So it's very hard to say where to draw the line if someone is already using it. The circumcision you mentioned sounds like it will probably cut away the infected area (along with the root) but if it were me in your shoes I would probably want to try something else before resorting to cutting away skin. The treatment methods in my report have saved a lot of people from having to resort to more drastic measures like surgery, which is something I'm happy and proud of. I'm not trying to steer you to my report just because it's mine, but because I believe less invasive options are always at least worth a shot before going to something more serious.

Regarding the HPV vaccine, there is a version for men now, but this vaccine is very problematic. There are a lot of videos on YouTube on how it has ruined the lives of many people. Dr Mercola (mercola.com) has also written a lot about this vaccine so check out that site and do a search for "HPV vaccine" before making any firm decisions.

Hi Hannah,

Like you mentioned, you've made it well past the 6 month mark which is the most important part. Some of the newer research I've read indicates if you've gotten rid of everything and kept it clear for at least 6 months (with nothing trying to come back) then you are much more likely to be ok going forward, unless you get reinfected at some point with a new strand of HPV. (Keep in mind I'm not a doctor or anything but since I have this site and my report, I do try to keep up with new developments the best I can)

Hi William,

HPV lives in the skin (not blood or other fluids) so it mainly spreads by direct skin to skin contact with the area. Usually this is when someone has an active case but I have heard of it spreading when there were no obvious signs (like when a woman has an area up inside where she can't see or the guy has an area that isn't obvious)

Hi Britt,

It's been long enough now that you're probably ok but it never hurts to go in and get it checked again to make sure. Sometimes skin colored bumps that form near the vulva are just female fordyce spots and not warts. Even some doctors can mistake this if they don't see enough cases to have a lot of experience. Even if they were warts, some people's bodies can clear away the virus in 2 years if the warts stay gone during that time. You might be one of these types of people. (of course I don't know for sure, but I'm just giving you suggestions based on what the statistics usually are) The whole goal of my report is to get people to a point where they're clear of all the warts and their body can handle the rest of the job getting rid of the virus. Some people can do this on their own and some people need extra help which is why the immune boosting techniques are in there.

Male yeast infection is rare but when you get it, it can keep coming back at odd times until its treated (oddly enough, method 1 in my report is effective on male yeast infection). If this new spot doesn't look anything like that, I wouldn't worry about it too much. We guys get things that come and go down there quite often that have nothing to do with STD's.
